Founded in 1997, GTR High Performance was created by two long-time Mustang enthusiasts, Gonzalo & Ricardo Topete. The concept was simple: to create a positive and rewarding Mustang shop experience. With a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable staff, GTR High Performance has emerged as one of the premier Mustang performance shops in the country. Regular appearances and features in national Mustang publications such as: 5.0 Mustangs & SuperFords Magazine, Mustang Enthusiast Magazine and media such as PowerTV are a testament to the quality of work available at GTR High Performance.

Originating from a modest 1000 sq./ft. shop with one bay for installations and a tiny office, GTR High Performance forged a strong reputation for quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and competetive pricing. Over the course of a decade, GTR High Performance expanded its services by offering a larger line of top-quality performance parts and accessories for Mustangs. The increased growth created the need for a larger facility. GTR High Performance, now in its 3rd location, offers the Mustang enthusiast the ultimate toy store. Comprised of over 8500 sq./ft. of Mustang paradise featuring a fully stocked parts warehouse, showroom, customer waiting room and state-of-the-art installation center. The highlight of GTR's installation shop is a DynoJet 224X chassis dynomometer. Capable of registering up to 1500 horsepower and reaching speeds up to 200 mph, it can tame even the wildest Pony! Title: President of GTR High Performance. Co-founded GTR in 1997. Lead sales representative and administrator (The Big Shot Caller). Chances are you talk to Gonzalo when you call or visit GTR High Performance.

Hobbies: Microsoft X-Box & sports.

Favorite Food: Anything his wife, Lauri, makes.

Ricardo Topete

Title: Vice-President of GTR High Performance. Co-founded GTR in 1997. Lead technician/installer and dyno-jet operator/dyno-tuner.

Education: Bachelor of Science Business Administration, University of California, Riveside, 1997. A.S.E Certified: A1 Engine Repair, A8 Engine Performance, A3 Manual Drivetrains, A4 Suspension & Steering. Regular apperances in national media such as: 5.0 Mustangs & SuperFords Magazine, Mustang Enthusiast Magazine & Power TV.

Personal Rides: 2001 Mustang GT, 1992 Mustang GT, 1964 1/2 Mustang 289, 2005 Ford F-150 SuperCrew, 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe. (Ricardo doesn't know the meaning of "factory stock").

Hobbies: Spending time with family, Traveling, Bicycling, Cruising in Mustangs & making horsepower!

Favorite Food: Any dead and cooked animal is fair game.

Elisseos Patronas

Title: Sales Associate/ Customer service. Started with GTR in 2002. In charge of shipping/receiving, fulfilling sales orders and parts sales in store. Eli ensures that your orders arrives accurately and promptly.

Education: Currently attendiing Chaffey College, Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Hobbies: Family, skateboarding, gym.

Personal Ride: Supercharged 2000 Mustang GT with a big ass sticker on it. Has owned 5 Mustangs: 2 5.0 Mustang GT's, a 94 Mustang GT, a 99 Mustang GT and his current 2000 GT. He has so many speeding tickets, we call him "Ticket-Master."

Favorite Food: Lowfat yogurt & cottage cheese.

Chris Balster

Title: Technician/Installer. Started with GTR in 2004. Very talented fabricator & welder. Specializes in differentials, drivetrains, electrical repairs.

Education: Universal Technical Institute graduate, 2005. Ford FACT graduate, 2006. A.S.E. certified Master Mechanic, A1 Engine Repair, A2 Automatic Transmission, A3 Manual Drivetrains, A4 Suspension & Steering, A5 Brakes, A6 Electronic Systems, A7 Heating & Air Conditioning, A8 Engine Performance.

David Chamberlain

Title: Technician/Installer. Started with GTR in 2006. Specializes in 5.0 Mustangs and truck performance. Was owner/operator of Dave's Custom Motorsports (Upland, Ca) 1992-1996.
Personal Rides: 06 Chrysler 300C SRT8, 96 Chevy Impala SS, 04 Chevy Truck 2500. Previously owned 1986 Mustang GT & 1989 Mustang 5.0.

Hobbies: Las Vegas and sleeping.

Favorite Food: Chili cheese fries at The Hat.

Clint Andersen

Title: Technician/Installer. Started with GTR in 2007 (Rookie). Specializes in 4.6L/5.4L Ford Mustangs and Ford Trucks, Engine diagnostics and repairs, and drivetrains.

Education: Universal Technical Institute graduate, 2000.

Personal Ride: 1996 Mustang GT with over 230,000 original miles and still running strong!

Hobbies: Sports, airplanes and fast cars.

Favorite Food: Mexican food

Josh Felton

Title: Marketing/Advertising/Web Site/Photography coordinator. Started working with GTR in 2002. Designs, updates, and maintains advertisements in magazines, web site, and promotional media such as calendars, flyers, brochures, etc...
